Barrientos Design completed the architectural design of a 36-unit, 11-building housing complex for the Ho-Chunk Indian Nation. The 11 different structures are a mix of duplexes, four-plexes, and townhomes. The subdivision covers four acres in total.
The buildings have garages, cathedral ceilings, balconies, dens and laundry rooms. There is a mix of two and three-bedroom units, ranging in square footage of 1,200-1,700 square feet, excluding the garages. The duplexes are designed to market toward the elderly, with all the units fully ADA compliant and accessible. Site design work involved new roadways, drives, grading, utilities, landscaping and play lots.
